Terms and conditions

Clear terms for a shared space.

These terms govern your use of the Libri application, website and related services.

Effective 11 August 2026 · Last updated 11 August 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Libri, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and current.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in details and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share passwords, impersonate another person or create an account using information you do not have permission to use.

4. What Libri provides

Libri helps students discover listed study libraries, compare available information and submit membership applications. It helps library owners manage listings, members, seats, plans, attendance, renewals and payment records. Features may change as the service develops.

5. Student applications and seats

A submitted application is a request, not a guaranteed reservation or membership. The relevant library owner decides whether to approve or reject it. Seat availability can change before approval. Any rules for using a physical library are agreed directly between the student and that library owner.

6. Library-owner responsibilities

Owners must keep library details, prices, amenities, hours, seat status and member records accurate. Owners are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter and manage walk-in member information, for restricting account access to authorized staff, and for handling their physical premises and member relationships safely and lawfully.

7. Payments

Libri records payment information entered by users but does not process money, hold funds, issue refunds or verify that an external payment succeeded. Payment disputes, refunds and receipts are handled directly between the student and library owner.

8. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Libri, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload unlawful or deceptive information, scrape personal information, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use Libri to harass, defraud or harm another person.

9. Availability and third-party services

We work to keep Libri reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Some functions rely on third parties such as Google authentication, hosting, database and city-search providers. Their availability and terms may affect Libri.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address security risks or respond to a serious breach of these Terms. You may stop using Libri at any time and can request account deletion.

11. Disclaimers

Libri is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Libri does not inspect or endorse listed physical libraries and is not responsible for their premises, services or conduct.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Libri and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the service, external payments, a library’s conduct or service interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to shahidshamimshah3@gmail.com.
